Browse the Library’s e-book collections
The majority of the Library’s e-book collection is provided by e-iNC Library through Overdrive with over 22,000 e-books, 2,100+ audiobooks and 283 videos! If you’re reading with an Apple or Android device it is quick and easy to set up access through Overdrive’s Libby app which simplifies the checkout and reading process considerably, and it is also possible to check out through the website if you are using a Kindle.

A special collection of e-books just for kids with more than 12,000 e-books to choose from! In addition to e-books there are also more than 3,200 audiobooks and 870 videos to browse. Because the NC Kids Digital Library collection is provided through Overdrive it is also possible to set up access through the Libby app.

How do I use e-books?
eBooks from all of these sources can be checked out and read through your computer’s web browser by using your library card number and four-digit PIN to sign in first. E-books from e-iNC Library and NC Kid’s Digital Library can also be checked out and read through the Libby app on Apple and Android devices. For a guide on setting up and using Libby click here.
What if I don’t have a library card?
